An Original 8 X 10 Glamour Portrait Still circa 1953 of the blonde pinup Marilyn Monroe taken during production of the classic thriller film-noir “Niagara”. Monroe’s first big break came in a 60 second cameo in the Marx Brothers film “Love Happy” (1949) where she caught the eye of not only producer Lester Cowan, but audiences worldwide. Monroe’s popularity led to Twentieth Century-Fox offering her a new contract where she would star in over a dozen movies and become one of the most recognizable actresses in cinematic history. Offered here is an Original, absolute knockout portrait Still of the Hollywood icon taken in 1953. This is the first time we have offered this fantastic photograph and it is sure to be a real gem in any collection. There is some writing on the verso. Very Fine.
